Automotive Testing Engineer — Bosch France
Hi, I'm Avesta, an embedded systems engineer specializing in automotive testing.
I studied embedded architecture and electronics at ESIEE Paris, and I've been at Bosch for six years. I started in engine control, developing virtualization and rapid prototyping tools, then moved on to brake systems, on the test and validation side. My day to day? Building test benches, running them, and prototyping whatever custom tooling a test needs, whether that's mechanical, electrical or software.
Outside of work, I do... the exact same thing. I mess around with tech I find cool, and every now and then one of my "experiments" turns out useful. I'm also into cats, cooking, mixology, home improvement, making music, anime and anything car-related.
From idea, to the requirements, spec book, GUI design, database handling, Java programming.

REBEC2A (RC Electric Based Experimentation Chassis for Automotive Applications) started as a fun school project between friends that quickly turned into a fully fledged automotive experimentation platform.
School project: open source Android app to control a Bluetooth-connected relay through an AVR microcontroller. Supports voice control.
